alright well i had some problems hooking my amp up a while ago some of you may remember...
well it was working great untill yesterday. i get in the car turn it on, and now there's this constant high pitched buzz when the stereo's off (and on i'm sure, just can't hear it over the music). it's relative to my motor, when it revs, the buzz gets slightly louder.
also, when i switch the amp's crossover, i hear a *click* through the speaker. never did that before...
when i routed my wires, i made sure none of them were near my car's wire harness, so what else could cause this and how can i fix it?

usually its when you had you stereo installed, all teh wires were runnig down the same side. that wil cause engine noise. always the speaker wire, and the ground remote wire should be on seperate sides..
Also try this, with regards to the ground for your amp. Remove the ground, use a sander, dremel, or whatever, and remove any painted area the ground screw, bolt might tough to the chassis, then reinstall your ground.

your prolly running your power wire next to your rca's. either run the power wire far away, or buy some high quality rca's (monster, rockford)
