Building my audio system
Heres what I have so far:
Stock CD Player HU (for 2000 Civic)
2 10" Alpine Type Rs
Kenwood Excelon Amp
Right now, the subs over power my interior speakers. Someone said that I should buy new front speakers and hook them into an amp.
Will that fix my problem of the subs over powering? How do you hook up the interior speakers to an amp?

Re: Building my audio system (mpociask)
IF i were you, I would buy some decent aftermarket speakers in your price range. Next i would pick up some bass blocks for like 10 bucks for two, and put those on all speakers. You have all your bass comin from your subs, and this will enable you to turn your speakers up louder without them distorting from the bass. I did it, and it sounds really good. An amp to your speakers, is always good, but i dont think it is necessary, it depends on what u want.

first off you should get a new deck...it'll make a huge difference...and yes replace your 4 stockers...get some 3-4 ways or something to that effect...run those of that amp you have and get a more powerful amp for your subs...
