Has anyone purchased a Bluetooth headunit? I drove a Prius last week and I really liked the convenience of hooking my phone up to the BT in the headunit.

I talk on my phone and listen to music in my car frequently so tinniness should be minimal.

Any recs for best bang for the buck BT headunit? Cheaper the better. I don't need touchscreen.

I am in the same dilemma. Honda Accord head unit radio does not provide sound. I have been researching the cheapest option with AUX, USB, Bluetooth and CD to install. I have visited Walmart and found units for about one hundred dollars, but I have to get an installation kit. There are some nice options and some cheap options. I found several websites for suggestions. I personally am thinking of the following:

That depends on what you mean bt best bang for the buck, Sonic Electronix, like many other online sites, is not an authorized dealer for most of the things they sell, eg; they are not an authorized Alpine dealer, so although their Alpine product comes with a 1 year warranty, it is Sonic Electronics that covers warranty, NOT Alpine.

And like most sites, you need a RA, [return autorization] from them before shipping anything back, you pay shipping, they deside if it is something they will cover.

I recommend always buying from an authorized dealer, online or retail, I always support my local retail outlets for anything I buy, so if I have a problem, I can just go back to that store for warranty problems if I have them, I can also talk to a salesman face to face not play telephone or Email/text tag with someone. 94

I have a Sony DSX-S300BTX, with the optional bluetooth microphone and a HD Radio receiver. **** is *******!

You can keep an iPod or other MP3 player IN the headunit too





I LOVE IT! No negatives at all except it doesn't take CD's but who the **** carries CDs anymore.
