best rex system
go with 1 MTX Thunder 9500 if you want to be loud. Otherwise, you can put about anything in that and it should sound fine. Maybe a 10" Alpine Type-E which won't run you much but will still put out alot of bass in a hatch
yah honestly when i still had mine it didnt matte what i had it sounded pretty good
just make sure its ran by a good amp and u can run inexpensive subs like kicker comp's or something along that line

Pretty much anything in a crx will be loud. If you want some good quality and a good sounding and loud as fawk sub then a JL would be a great place to start.
W6 is probably what I would go with and maybe a 750-1000 watt amps to power 2 of them and your ears are gonna be hurtin.
Depends on how much money you have I guess

i've saw a rex on car domain with like six 12 inch solo-baric l7's and i have seen a rex with only one w7 with a clean fiberglass look. It's all what you want to spend and how you want to spend it

i'm running a 12" mtx in a q-logic box off a bazooka 500w amp. Plenty loud. It doesn't take much is such a small space. Only problem is that the sub and box take up a hell of a lot of hatch space, like half the hatch is filled up now. I'm hoping I can find someone to build me a custom enclosure eventually adding in two 10 mtx subs.
I think the sub I have is a 6500 series, I got it over a year ago.
Soudns great, can't go wrong, got a pair of pioneer 6.5" in the doors, have yet to replace the rears.

You can fit two 10 inchers behind the rear wheel wells pretty easily if youre going to a custom enclosure.
You can also fit a single 12 or pair of 10s in the spare tire well as well.
500 watts RMS if your sub can handle it is going to be PLENTY loud. I know I only want to listen to a song or two at 200 before turning down the volume.

Hahaha. Yeah, the 6000 (sorry, I got confused, I actually have a 6000) series are rated at 500 watts peak, 50-250rms. the amp is advertised at 375x1@4ohms, 500x1@2..this sub being 4ohm.
it get's too loud a lot. it can push out some clean bass, but at the same time it puts out a lot of messy bass. it's the combo of being too much for my small little car sometimes, and just needing to be tuned in. I do what I can, but every song and style of song is different, so you can't please everyone! haha
Imma look into getting something made in my spare tire well and just lifting the flooing up since the spare tire well doesn't seem to be deep enough to hold the hole sub.

ive got one 15inch rockford hx2 in a 3cubic ft enclosure tuned to 35hz powered by a directed 600d amp. its great. im not done w/ tne enclosure or amp rack yet but heres a pic so far.
will the amplified basslink work? enough power to hear good inside the car. to add to that, it is small/ takes up little space, and doesnt require a amplifer. after all, were talkin about a crx here
well i kinda finished tonight...heres some dark pics and its all dirty i need to vacuum the carpet and clean the vinyl and itll look good. and i gota paint the port black..kinda weired lookin like that
