Auto Headlight switch
I was wondering if anyone has any experiance with the electronics needed to make the headlights come on automatically when it is dark. I know several new cars have this feature and I assume newer hondas do as well.
On autos usually park is not affected by these electronics, but once put into a driving gear the headlights would come on. How would this work on a manual transmission?
Also, what can I do to put an indicator that my lights are on? And it there is one, I guess I have a burnt out bulb. Thanks

You would need to add a light sensor. They sell them at radioshack. Then wire that up to a relay, and have the relay switched to your headlights. You could either bypass the stalk switch completely, or turn the switch to on, and let the relay control them. You'd have to wire up some other relay or switch so that they would only come on when the car is on (or out of park for an auto).
