Audio Setup Question
Hey guys I got a 97 4 door Accord and have the following audio equipment getting installed (when i get the money):
Alpine DVA-9860 DVD
Gathers In-Dash Screen
Eclipse 8362 Components - Front
Eclipse 8122 12" DVC - x2 Subs
Eclipse 6213 - 2 Channel 1000watt Amp (for subs)
Eclipse 33230 - 2 channel 130watt Amp (for speakers)
Any ideas on what kinda wiring grade i need for this install and how much of it? Also anyone in the DC area know of a reputable shop that will install this setup for a decent price? I got quoted $1300 from Excessive Audio in Rockville because i also needed them to build a custom box for the subs as well. Any suggestions would be helpful.

4 Ga. wire is cool...Its only 2300 watts... Get the THX Rca cables too..

Where did you get 2300 watts? He has only 2 amps. One is 130 watts and the other is 1000 watts. Thats only 1130 watts.
Why dont you install it yourself? Save yourself about 1000 dollars. Go to a audio shop or someplace online and get a harness that connects to your stock harness and you dont have to cut wires. The speakers are a plug and play thing. Okay you might have to cut out the door panels to make them fit but its simple.
But hey if you want to get it done by a pro. there more the happy to take your money. I would
Also you should get a cap and 4 aug. will be fine. Get a box from a store around you or online to save some money:

Also why almost pay 50 to 100 dollars for some rca cables when normal ones do the same and they only cost 20-30 dollars at the most?
Another thing when you go get it installed see what the guy(installer) has done before. If hes new ask for someone to help him. Just my 2 cents!
