i'm seriously contemplating going to mobile audio installer school since i just recently dropped out of college. i live in florida so i'm leaning toward installer institute in daytona but would just like input from anyone who has experienced any of the major schools or been to them. mobile dynamics is a definate possibility for me as well since tuition is not much of an issue and i get free airfare (dad works for the airlines).

 

i'm in florida too and i'm an installer at circuit city. i was looking at a few schools but haven't found any to make me seriously want to spend the amount of cash. if u find some good places near florida.. please pm me. where u located in florida?

that is also a possibility. from the website it seems like its a better campus than the phoenix campus also. im guessing it's the same cost for uition. i'll def look into it.

 

It is a better campus, it is the original one, Phoenix is a satellite campus, Mobile Dynamics is Canadian eh, long before there was Mobile Dynamics Steve Witt, [spelling?] and Derrek Lee ran "Alpine school" part of Alpine Canada tech support.

Aahhhh the old days, when Alpine would fly you to Toronto put you up at pretty good hotels, feed you, train you, put on a pretty good feed bag, [at a good restaurant] on the last day, and the airline would bump you up to biz class on the return, and it didn't cost you a dime.
Then the cutbacks started, and it got to the point where all you got from Alpine or any of the manufacturers were T shirts, maybe.
An opportunity arose and two smart guys, took a chance, left Alpine and jumped all over it and started what is IMO the best car audio/security/video school in the world. 94

 

werd, canada sounds interesting. how are the clubs,chics, and stuff like that out there. i'm in orlando,fl and it can be fun on weekends. i'd hate to be in school out there and not enjoy the days off.

 

canada is mad tyte. The gurls speak french, clubs are off the hook. And drinks are cheap. I can't wait till the end of the year so I can be back
