Before winter my soundsystem had worked perfectly fine. One cold day it just completely stopped working. Since then it's turned on and off a couple of times but that's it. It is now completely off with no power.

When I look at my amp there is no lights and power to it. I checked all my wires and they all look fine and firm. I checked my ground wires also and they're bolted down fine. They might be a little dirty but I don't know if that would cause a problem.

Anybody know what could be the culprit?

 

Check the inline fuse for the power wire. If it is a glass-type fuse, switch it for an ANL or maxi fuse and retry.

 

i would check fuse also,,
but double check the remote wire, that could cause it,
they may look firm but give them a little tug and see.
