Well thanks again for the same website. I mean trully I hate calling companies cause you get the run around and it takes you hours to fix the problem when it could take minutes. Which is why I am asking you all but seems like no one can help. Thanks alot tho

How do you have the subs wired what is the final load, [impedance]? Alpine amps are not stable below 2 ohms, and depending on what Type R subs you have DVC 2 ohm or DVC 4 ohm and how they are wired parallel or series or a combination of both, if they are all paralleled you would have a 1 ohm load on the DVC 4 ohms a .5 ohm load on the DVC 2 ohms , so how they are wired may be a problem 94

the subs i got are the SWR-1221D whichever that is. I have them wired as so....you have a postive and negative on each side, i have the + wire from my amp goin to one sides + then the - goes to the other sides negative with a wire connect the other sides - with the last + if that makes sense.

is this right or wrong? but the thing about it is that it still throws the code even when I dont have the subs hooked to the amp... could it be my headunit?

If it's giving you a code when the subs aren't hooked up, then you may very well have an internal problem with the amp.

Call tech support.

Well, since 0.5 is within the acceptable limits of the input voltage range, I say, again, that it sounds like a problem with the amplifier's internals...

Call tech support.
