amp suggestions for component speakers?
i want to install some diamond audio s500s 5.25" into my 97 5th gen prelude (by the way, if anyone else has a lude, what kind of components are you running?) however, i'm absolutely clueless as to how amps work, or how they're rated.. and i was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions on a nice amp that would provide decent power to the speakers, and also how much i should be expecting to pay.
i saw these two amps on ebay:
hifonics:

phoenix gold:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...photo
and they're both rated at about 800 watts, but is that the peak power? i've heard that some companies like to really overexaggerate their wattage, and im just wondering if either one of those amps would provide enough power for the speakers (dont' they get messed up if you don't give them enough power?)...also, does anybody else have any opinions on the diamonds? or have any other component speaker suggestions? thanks

Imped (ohms): 4
Sensitivity(dB SPL): 91 (w/2.83-V input @ 1 meter)

You will need an amp that is rated at about 100 watts min. for good sound.
More power would be better [ its better to be over powerd then under powerd]
although a 500 watt amp would be overkill.
Look for a brand name amp., 200 to 300 watts rms 20 to 20,000 Hz into 4ohms, with a low THD [.05 or lower]
hope this helps.
