Default Amp question

I have a brand new a1 channel amp and i have 2 10" subs, i had the two sub wires connected to each other (+ and +, - and -) then from there i had the wires from the subs to the amp, it worked fine, everything was good, i unplugged everything, to organized it all, when i plugged everythinb back in, it didnt work. what can i try?

So the subs are DVC? how many ohms per voice coil? you may be running your amp too hard

does tha tmean that i blew my amp? im gonna look up in the manual and see what they say about bridging the **** together, we'll see

you might wanna try + to - and + to - and run it parrallel

sounds like you had it in parallel..

___+(sub1)-___+(sub2)-_____
| |
|________+(amp)-__________|

will be in series... if the subs are 4ohm single voice coil, you'll be running 8ohms, which is probably too high. if they're dvc, run the 2ohms each (on the sub itself, + to +, - to -) and then as pictured above, that will run at 4ohms and will almost definitely run with the amp. otherwise, if the amp will run at 1ohm, run the subs at 2ohms each, and then in parallel again (+ to + between subs). if it will run 2ohms, run the subs at 4ohms (+ to - each sub itself) and then in parallel to the amp...

well guys, figured it out, damn im stupid, connected a + and - together then decided to plug it in, BYE BYE FUSE, hahah thats what it was , what would yyou recommend for a fuse? thanks
