Moved my amp yesterday to a little more stealth spot.
Now it's not turning on.
Checked the fuse, that's good. Checked the trigger/remote wire and that's good.
I'm thinking it's the ground, it's grounded to the seat mounting bolt, metal under the mount is sanded down to bare metal.
Ideas?
It's a 93 Integra.

Did you check the trigger wire with a volt meter?
I'd also check the power wire with a volt meter and the ground wire with an OHM meter and verify continuity to chassis ground.

I don't have a volt meter sadly.
The only connection that changed is the ground, hence why I'm suspecting that. Maybe I should pull the seat out again and go to town on sanding it down and sand down the back of the mount too.

So I took it all apart again. Re-did the connections at the amp, sanded down the ground more.
Went under the hood to remove the fuse in the power line and that's when I noticed the fuse holder was ****, cracked and falling apart. I removed the center piece so the fuse was making contact and sure enough it work.
I will buy a new one in the next few days and replace it.

All my audio installs, I have never had to sand down for a good grounding point. Any threaded hole with the proper bolt will do fine. Just make sure the area is solid metal, not flimsy paneling.
