Default which amp for 1.5ohm

okay i received 2 12 w7. They are 3ohms so if im right putting them together will put me at 1.5 ohms. So what amp carries that? Pretend an amp is 2500rms @1 ohm----1800 @2 ohm---and so forth, since 1.5 is in the middle does my subs get like 2200 rms or what??? I never really understand this. thx

well, they're rated @ 1000

so you'd need something that did 2500-3000 @ 1 ohm

personally, with the amp you'll need, you're gonna have to dump a **** load into your electrical

I would sell 1 w7, and use that money toward your amp/ box

What?

Anyways, yeah if you want more volume ported is the way to go. But honestly, there are better subs for getting loud than the JL W7s

Find a JL Audio dealer and have a listen to a 12W7 in a H.O. Wedge with 750W, [recommended optimum wattage] driving it, it is stupidly loud, do two of them with two JL Audio 1000/1v2s driving them and I am pretty sure it will be more then loud enough.

What JL Audio box was the original in, was it a ProWedge box? 94
