Was thinking about replacing my stock head unit with one of these and did a search. It seems a lot of people recommend the 9813 but the 7894 lights up amber which is a big thing for me since it would match the interior. Which model do you guys suggest and where could I find a new 7894?

The 9813 is a great head unit to run your system, I am runnin it and I love it. If you are looking check out ebay.

 

Is the 9813 a better model than the 7894?

 

i got the 7894 and loving it. plays MP3 which is a great feature. pretty fast load up too. amber looks nice in my car as well. i may be selling it soon to get another alpine with a monitor. but overall the 7894 is great!

 

either one is nice..go to an Alpine dealer...don't buy off the internet if they are not a dealer.
