Default Alternator Ache

iight i got a 98 Civic EX and im bout to run a system with 1000W RMS. my ? is u guys think my stock alternator will be sufficent b/c i really dont feel like buyin a new one.

Yes it should be, high power alternators are for competition level and did I mention they cost $$$$. You should be fine. Good luck. Get a 1 Farad cap and a Deep Cycle Battery for safe measure.

another idea is to purchase a batcap as a secondary battery, it is a cap and a battery in one package and it will work wonders
