I have quick question a friend of mine got some alpine type S subs I was gonna hook them up for him but I just wanted see what would be the best way to wire them. This the part number SWS 1242D. I believe they are 4 ohm DVC. And if possible a good amp suggestion. Thanks in advanced.

 

I assume by the way that you have worded your post that your friend has two subwoofers. If this is the case then, you can wire it up as shown in either of the pictures below.
