Default Alpine 7894 Pics of it mounted?

I was wondering if the face on the Alpine 7894 can be completely turned to amber (i.e. all the buttons). The idiot at Ultimate Electronics couldnt tell me or show me. And does anyone have any pictures of how the Alpine decks mount in an Integra? I just want to see how flush they sit in relation to the center consol. I just want a deck that matches the Type R's illumination color (amber) and looks relatively smooth, close to stock. I am tired of the deck I have now and I think this would be a good upgrade.

any pictures of the recent alpine decks in that series, in an integra would be fine. I searched and couldnt come up with anything. Thanks for your help guys.

You can find a ton of information on this head unit here:

The only problem I found is that the actually buttons are a translucent green. Meaning that in the daylight, having the unit display in amber looks kinda crappy since you see a weak amber light through the green. At night though, the amber matches pretty close to the integra dash.

Thanks guys for the posts. I dont really care what color it is during the day. The nighttime illumination was what I wanted. Do you need a mounting kit to put this head unit in the Integra? From the second picture it looks like you do. I have Kenwood now and it mounts so nice, flush and in the stock location. I was just wondering how different the Alpine would be?

shouldnt need a mounting kit, just need the factory pocket to support the head unit. i have an eclipse and its fits perfectly flush, just wish i could change the damn green illuminated buttons to amber
