i recently bought this fake alarm thing called "alien scanner", it kinda looks like night rider on tv .. i'm sure some of you guyz know this thing,
but the problem is i don't exactly know how to install this thing, i don't have any manuals and my friend told me that one goes to battery, then ground, then fuse...

since i suck at electronic stuff, i donno how to do this... can anyone help me on this??

 

what exactly r u trying to do w/ it? hook it up w/ your alarm? have it on all the time? have it on when your car/ignition is on?

from what ur friend told you it sounds like you just want it on all the time... you can tap it into one of those prongs above your fuse box.. one of them is HOT (on) all the time, one of them is "HOT" when the parking lights are on, one of them is "HOT" when the ignition is in "ON" position and 1 in ACC position i think... hook up the power to whichever one you want (depending on how you want it to operate/when its on)..

if you want to hook it up to your alarm (depending if your alarm supplies enough current for the alarm LED output) you either hook it up straight to your alarm LED wires or to a relay/switch.. then it gets the signal from the alarm LED to turn itself on.. but gets the power from the battery..

Im not really sure how you want this thing to work...so tell us that first...
