Alarm triggers at slight inclines!!
i have tilt sensors installed with my viper 800 esp. my alarm will trigger when it it is parked at slight and i do mean SLIGHT inclines. my question is if this is a normal occurence when tilt sensors are installed or if this is a bad install. the shop that installed it has done 1 alarm previous and i had no problems. also i have had my alarm for 2 months now and this JUST started happening. im sure i have parked on worse inclines b4 with no probs. also it takes a couple for the alarm to start triggering. i would say 5 minutes after arming.
any help please

Re: Alarm triggers at slight inclines!! (Beach Accord)
you probably have a cheap *** mercury tilt sensor (no offense).. get a digital one that resets itself/calibrates itself for inclines...

turns out the sensor was electronic not mercury but was set on highest sensitivity setting with auto-calibrate turned off. took it back today, turned it on setting two (auto calibrate on) medium sensitivity and does not exhibit the problems anymore.
