Default Adding Tweeters

Hello,

Here is my current setup.

Alpine 6.5 Front and 6x9 Rear - both 2 way 100RMS
Alpine 4 Channel MRP-F600 Amp - 4 x 100 RMS

My HU is Pioneer but it only gives out 15RMS

I would like to put a tweeter on this setup without putting another amp. can I do that?

I have a factory tweeter and its connected in the HU but I can barely hear anything from it.

I want to put a tweeter with at least 65RMS on it.

Thanks!

Why not switch your front 6.5 with a component system, then you can get the end result and not have to worry about adding a stand alone tweeter.

I just found out the problem.

Both my front and rears have tweeters in them its just I did not switch the High Pass Filter in the Amp and thats why the the tweeters are not working.

And now they sound magnificent.

your mids should be playing full range without a crossover, but if you do, i would put it on high pass and set it as low as 80hrz if you can, bull personally i let all frequency pass into my mids, are you saying you have now set it to HP, or it was cutting out the HP?

I have it at OFF, that is why the tweeters are not working and now I have it at High pass.
