hmmmm...mdf is more dense, stronger, and easier to work with than particle board. most anyone will back that up. you went cheap on your box, better luck next time dick.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Ok, that's understandable. I don't think we need to resort to name calling just because I didn't want a 200 pound box.

I built my boxes back in the day with particleboard from Lowes or the local lumberyard.
I used 3/4" bracing on the inside corners, liquid nails on the mating surfaces and silicone on the seams and as stated above, it sounded just as good as more expensive boxes...
Nothing wrong with going cheap as long as corners aren't cut as well.

sorry about that man, just got a little worked u, no had feelings. mdf vs particle board is a debateable although more are leaning toward mdf lately.
mmm yea you have a point. Now where can i get free installation? does Best Buy do it when i buy a headunit? and will they install my subs and amp that i didnt buy from them?
yea if you buy the head unit from best buy or circuit city they will install it for free..also if your box isnt sealed correctly it could sound differently and the bass wont hit as hard

any leaks in the box will affect bass response and make the sound overall crappy. make sure the box is completely airtight if building a sealed enclosure.
sure will.

Generally speaking, yes. However, older decks or lower-end decks don't have separate power antenna & remote wires.

It won't function when you listen to AM?
