Adding pwr keyless entry to a civic?
I was wondering if anyone added a universal keyless entry system to their civic (preferably a 92-95 hatchback w/o pwr windows + locks). I am in the process of adding pwr windows (via: SPAL universal motors + civic ex panels + switches), I am also interested in adding keyless entry (pwr door locks). Anyone w/ some insight on adding it, what parts, etc... (PS. If anyone has any help w/ the spal pwr window kit thnx).

never installed any of the spal products but have heard its straight forward process.. as for the door locks you can get power door lock selioniods and wire them up.. not sure if they will work w/ the factory switches cause most aftermarket seloniods are 2 wire as civic ones have 3.. but you can rig them up, its not hard at all to do i had it done to my 92 hatch a couple years ago.. the parts are cheap less than 20 bux a door but labor can be expensive..
the hardest part will be running the wires into the door,it is a good idea to run a couple extra wires into the door so if you were to expand your system or alarm in the future you wouldn't have to go through this process again.
you might want to go get the window motors /lock actuators from a ex civic, you still need to wire up the motors, but it will give you alot cleaner instalation, and the parts are about the same price if you get them from a wrecking yard.
