Default 99 Integra gsr hatch problem

Using the unlock button on driver/passenger doors will not unlock the hatch lock, I can hear the actuator click but it never unlocks the hatch. I have to use the key to open it, and 80 percent of the time I have to keep the key turned while I slide the lever to open it. Could this be a mechanical problem, in which I can lube, clean or allign the mechanism or is it electrical such as a relay or solenoid?

Probably. Pull the plastic panel(s) and check it out.

If you can hear the solenoid activating, then probably not.
