94+ integra antenna...
How would I connect a switch to work so that it can control the antenna from going up and down?
i hate it because it goes up whenever i power up the HU, even if I am not listening to the radio.
TIA

you have to intercept the antenna power wire and put a switch on it. i believe it is just a 5volt signal line (maybe not even that much, don't quote me!), so you could get a switch at Radio Shack or where ever that would work. if you are using the stock head unit, i believe you are looking for the Green wire with a Yellow stripe.
Its alot easier if you have an aftermarket unit since the wiring harness wires are easier to get to and splice than the stock wires (IMHO) due to the stock head unit being such a bastard to get out of the dashboard.
you can look here: http://integra.cyberglobe.net/caraudio/diagrams/ for more info.
good luck.

I put the switch next to my parking brake.
Whe the stereo is on it sends current through ther antenna moror to ground. This makes the anenna go up. Just putting a switch in the correct line will do the trick.
Can't remember what color though, where's my Helm's when I need it!?

Here's the switch install I did to my '95 GS-R:

I was having the same problem and this works out very well. Sadly, my audio gear has been stolen for the 2nd time, so I'm running off the factory head unit and harness and I need to rewire the antenna to the factory harness as well...
