Default 500ESP Arming and zone Bypassing.

After I arm my alarm it chirps once. followed by that chirp is another short chirp. The manual states its bypassing zone 1 which is my shock sensor. So to reset it, I would need to disarm and re-arm which would activate all zones again. But it doesn't. is there a way to totally reset it?

If it's chirping again after arming, it means that there's a zone "open".

Like if I don't close a door hard enough and it only closes on the first "click" (and stays ajar), the door trigger isn't engaged. When I arm the alarm, it chirps, then chirps again to let me know that the door isn't closed.

If it's showing that zone 1 is your shock sensor, then it's either not connected properly or malfunctioning.

Actually the impact sensor is zone 2, zone 1 is the blue, (H1/6) instant trigger input, normally used for hood/trunk trigger, what do you have the blue H1/6 lead connected to? 94

I have a hood pin, and tilt sensor connected. I've tested them already.

How did you test them?

Try this, disconnect the blue lead, [de-pin at the plug] and test the system. 94

testing as in simulating a theft. all zones work.

But this time I shut all doors and armed. no short chirp. So i guess a door was open when I first tested. As someone stated above, door was open.
