Adding Sensors to Alarm
Hey guys I asked a similar question yesterday but the response wasn't fully clear.
I have a Valiant 5005 Alarm/RS/Keyless installed on my car. I bought a Back up battery DEI 520T , Tilt Sensor 507M, Glass Break Sensor 506T & 508D.
My issues is installing the trigger wires. I know I'll have to diode each sensor blue trigger (-) but how I saw it done on CAUSE OF ALARM and it's quite confusing because my alarm is different. It doesn't have a instant trigger wire from the main harness.
It has 1 Hood/Trunk Pin - My hood switch is connected to it now.
And a sensor port that has a dual shock sensor plugged in. It's the only wire except for the doors that have negative trigger.
I want to add these 3 sensors with my trunk trigger & backup battery but have no idea which of the two to diode off of...
Plase help me out here.

Re: Adding Sensors to Alarm
it doesnt make any difference you can tap it with the hood trigger with diodes. Once triggers it would show just the hood you can even tap it onto the door trigger, as long as you diode all add ons you should be alright

Anyone else wanna add their sugguestion? How many sensors can I add on to my current shock sensor trigger? There's only one port.

Re: Adding Sensors to Alarm
you can add whatever you want, but when you add tons your gonna need a relay to provide 12vpower for all add ons,and all the add on trigger wires will then require resistors.Ive done this way to many times
