Default 4 speakers on a 2-ch amp???

I was wondering if anyone has done this before and how well does it work? Right now I have an Audiobahn a2601x amp that pushes 150x2 RMS @4ohms, and I have a set of polk momo components (capable of handling 150 each) in some custom kicks up front, and plan on getting some 6x9's in the rear, probably in the same power range.

Right now, I dont have the gain turned all the way up, so I was wondering if anyone has ever hooked up 4 speakers to a 2ch amp??? Could I just wire them up in a 2ohm load and get more power, so they would theoretically still be getting 150 watts but @2ohms instead of @4ohms???

Oh yeah, and how exactly would I do that???

i did it with my excelon 2 channel, just put one set of speakers on one channel, and then other on the other channel, you can do it with the fronts and backs, or the lefts and rights, either way it works fine, cheaper than doing a 4 channel, you just dont have the capablility of fading or balancing, you lose one of the two depending on how you set it up

So if I had them hooked up fronts and rears each into their own channel, if I wanted to quiet the rear a little bit i could just fade that channel slightly?

Well wont it be the same in a way??? But It will just be with 2 different speaker sets? The front speakers will be together and the rear will be together, in the left and right channels respectively, and true i will lose left and right fade, i will still have front to back (by using left and right fade)

I'll make sure I post up when I finally install them, I dont have any money left right now, I just bought a 150amp alternator and some ANL fuses so I wont be able to buy the speakers for the rear for awhile.
