2ohm or 4ohm????

Default 2ohm or 4ohm????

i was wonderin guys im gettin all new **** for my car and i was really wondering if there was much of a difference between 2 ohm or 4 ohm......and if one blows easier than the other cause im starting to realize alot of the amps coming out now are for 2 ohm subs and i didnt know if i should just get a 2 ohm sub and amp to run it??????? also wondering what are sony amps like....good?.....****.....half ***?

depends on your configuration. If you have a 2ohm stable amp, then run the load at 2ohms. you will get more power.

Depends on what and how many subs you are getting also, if you have a 2 ohm stable amp you can get 2, 4 ohm SVC subs and run them in series or 1, 4 ohm DVC sub and do the same. They would both equal 2 ohm load at the amp

Depends on your cash flow!!

depends on how you look at it, if its 2 ohm subs and you can only handle a 4ohm load then you wire them in series for 4ohm. I think that what he was getting at? Maybe?
