Panel housing cig lighter needs to be popped off, then there are 2 (or 4) 8mm bolts under the radio console, and that unclips from the dash. Old radio unscrews, new radio goes into kit and snaps into old radio spot. Reinstall console, and snap lighter panel back in and you're done. Nothing needs to be broken provided you've got the correct tools to remove the panels safely. Get a panel popper and you'll be fine.

I can't remember if it's '01 or '02 that they changed it slightly, and the piece with the cig lighter *doesn't* pop out, and you have to undo half the damn console to get at the bottom of the radio. I know I've run into that a couple times on customer's cars.
