I havent done it on a civic before but I done it on a mercedes with nav. you have to get a special unit to do it. it has to be spliced into the nav unit. I will check to see if it is compatiable with the civic.

try the Soundgate VIDHOND1 or VIDHOND2. It does not list the 2006 civic as a compatable model but its worth a shot if it doesnt work just return it.

Dude! stop bumping this post. Try the soundgate unit or the Alpine unit FCM showed you. He didnt say it wouldnt work, he asked why wont it work because you keep bumping the post after your question has been answered.

Not generally a problem. However,

A) This forum doesn't move that fast that your thread gets lost on page 2 or deeper after 4 hours. It would still be on page 1 even if you hadn't post-whored and bumped it 9 times.

B) YOUR QUESTION HAS BEEN ANSWERED!!!!

Sorry guys that was one of my buddies brothers using my account.....I let him borrow it a lil bit while he was parting out his JRSC'ed ek coupe....but I hadn't even looked and seen what he was posting. I just changed the password so it wont happen again.

Once again I apologize if he annoyed or offended anyone.

I am just apologizing cause I dont want anyone to look down on my reputation cause of someone else's mistakes.

Thanks,
Nate
