Default 05 accord amp?

does the factory 120-watt six disc system use an external amp? if so, are there adaptors to get line-level outputs without using the head units internal amp?

Don't know if there's an external amp, but you can get a line-out converter to tap into the speaker wires to get you RCAs to run to an amp. Available at any stereo store.

Right.. I was hoping for the external amp, so I could bypass the noise that will be generated in the high-voltage lines cause be the internal amp.

If you're running subs, noise really won't be too much of a concern... Most likely you won't even hear it.

I think you'll be fine with a converter.
