Been almost 9 years now.
Thanks! Less is more approach has always been my thing.
Thank you.
That's what I thought... They got replaced either way though. Thanks.
Thanks Chad.

After it came home from paint I cleaned everything up the best I could and started getting everything ready to re-assemble the car.
I dropped the subframe and steering rack and repainted/cleaned everything. I re-painted the brake booster and cleaned up the master cylinder really well.
Before/After
I'm not real big on the tucked brake line look or honestly the trouble of doing it, so I painted all the factory brake lines satin black to match the booster and other satin parts, cleaned up the 40/40 valve I bought locally and put everything back on the firewall. I bought a brand new OEM fuel filter and bracket also.

Parts kept rolling in which was awesome, because I hadn't really done anything new to the car in the last 4 or 5 years. Growing up, getting married, buying a house and concentrating on my career and my friends made the car get back-burnered for a while.
Resurfaced LS flywheel, Exedy "street/strip" clutch and pressure plate, and throwout bearing.
My buddy Matt (-Na-All-The-Way-) got me a new steering wheel which was a pretty bad *** unexpected gift. My interior has pretty much looked this way for the last 5 years, but it was nice to have a fresh steering wheel.
Cool picture I found when I was going through my Flickr.

In comes Brice with a swift kick to the groin. Chase is building a mega car with mega parts and lot's of custom stuff, so he has an excuse. I did a pretty cookie cutter swap in about 6 months working very slowly.....

I'm a poor Staff Sergeant mang
Don't discount yourself! You're an amazingly humble guy and you should be proud to own such a hatch. Your prioroties are straight. Not everyone needs overnight parts from Japan or 4 bottles of NOS to build a nice car

Re: WhiteSlipsWithStickers Refresh Build 2013
Forgot to post the picture of the back of the motor all buttoned up. I won't be running a PCV valve, so I installed a brass plug with a little gasket sealer around it and installed the OEM H23 block fittings to run a catch can setup.
Got the itch to work on the car one night and stuck the transmission on the motor and dropped her in. This was done by myself with a hoist at about 3AM and after a few too many beers. Crazy enough I didn't damage anything and it went pretty smoothly. Always seems like you get the most work done alone early in the morning.

The bolt and washer in the valve cover blocking the PCV fitting hole was driving me crazy, so I fix that up on the next update also.
I wasn't liking the fuse box lid not having the sticker and not having the OEM battery tie down, so I ordered a few more parts from Autofair Honda. Those updates next.

How are those motor mounts as far as vibration compared to oem?
Great to come up on that motor. I was going to get a complete 94 LS swap with tranny from an original owner last year but he ended up rebuilding it half-*** just to get it running and ended up selling it.
Nice early morning progress!!

Yeah, got super lucky on the motor and it seems very clean inside and runs really well. Burns a tiny bit of oil, but doesn't smoke or anything. The little lines on the cam lobes are just from the oil. There isn't any scoring on the cams or the rockers or anything. I looked up in the cylinders when I pulled the oil pan and they have tiny little scores in them, but nothing of concern really. Got lucky with a free Craigslist motor haha.

I knew you guys knew each other, so no biggy. Chase lived here in OKC for a while and we've known each other since I had my old Phantom Grey hatch around 2003ish. I wish he would have decided to K-Swap it while he still lived here so I could drive it haha.

Yep, should've done it long ago. If you're visiting Seattle anytime, and it's done you're welcome to drive it!
