SoCal EJ1: Round two
Dude, I really tried to sell my car and go back to a Honda but I couldn't. I'm so comfortable in the Audi every day. Do you ever miss it? I know I could do without the bullshit German problems as well...

Yeah. I mean, occasionally sometimes a tool in an Audi, VW, or BMW pulls up next to me and tries to show off his piece of "work" and I really wish I had the S just so I could shut them up and give'm a run for their money, but that doesn't matter because I'll still out handle most of them if it were taken to a track. No biggy, it balances out

Not yet, with this set anyway. I had the older version on my last coupe and surprisingly, they seemed to be fine in the rain. I mean, I'm not about to punch it through any turns, but daily driving when it was wet out was never a problem until they started getting below 50% tread. I managed to get like 18k out of them.

nothing recently. i've been a bum. im gonna get my mid-pipe put in either this week or next, and while i'm at it i'm gonna see what i can do about my rear coilovers too. i'm tired of people offering me $250 shipped for a brand new ASR kit, so I'm just gonna spend $40 and get my lower perches reman'd and run the kit.

you do? how? cuz i never posted on there lol
everything is 'prototype' right now, but it's all completely over-engineered so i dont know why 'testing' is still going on. it'll take a small nuke to blow up the internals of one of these coils. i don't believe there's an rsx coilover available right now, but he can make a few phone calls i'm sure and get things in line.

over the last few days, I've completely cleaned my car inside and out, aside from removing my carpet. I took out all the interior panels and seats and was pretty grossed out by the condition it was in. I fail at taking pictures because I just wanted to get it done. After about 4 hours with a vacuum and some simple green and about a dozen rags, I ended up with a pretty damn fresh interior.
Outside, I gave the car a nice 2-bucket wash, cleaned all jambs, took some megs polish to get a few scuff marks out, then proceeded to claybar the entire car (god damn it was filthy... i think the rear bumper was the worst, then the roof). The paint still has some scratches, but I'll leave that to someone with a rotary buffer. So for now, I just used some Megs carnuba wax, some random rubber/plastic/vinyl trim stuff, and some tire shine and it's looking pretty fresh for 15 year old paint.
