Thanks man. Don't really have a whole lot of money to throw around for a motor build...I'm kinda trying to focus on starting up a business. I'll let you know if anything changes though.

Time to breathe life back into this thread.
After putting the car on the back burner for a while, I finally started working on it again. I've been very busy with classes this semester, as well as trying to focus on starting a business, so that was consuming most of my time. Here's some updates to bring things back up to speed!
When we last left off I had pulled the head off the block to find my cylinder walls were scored. Tad (EF'n Sedan) came over and helped me tear it apart. We tried honing the cylinders to see if we could get the vertical scratches out but they were slightly too deep (unfortunately I don't have any pics of the tear down). At this point I decided to go with a set of oversized pistons and beef up the bottom end a bit. The goal is to do a reliable, mild N/A build utilizing mostly OEM parts.
First on the list was a set of 81.5mm RS Machines PR3 pistons.

I took the block, crank, and pistons/rods to RLZ Engineering to get the block bored/honed/decked/hot-tanked, crank micropolished, and the PR3 pistons swapped over to my P72 rods. Some pics after I got them back this week..

Then I tore the head apart. I'll be taking it to RLZ to get hot tanked and a valve job. I'm still undecided on what valvetrain/cam setup I'm going to run.

I've got a slew of new OEM parts for the build waiting to go in but I'll post pics of all that tomorrow. Big thanks to my buddy Kneenan (grenthang) for coming through yet again!
I plan on assembling the block this weekend, I'll try to keep this thread as updated as possible
