S2000 facelift
So I am currently in the body shop working on my car, they are guiding me and helping whenever I need a hand and I have 20+ employees colluding to give me advice on this project!
They are a well established shop and are currently building a custom tubbed out old cuda with a srt-8 full susp and drivetrain swap and have a gillardo they just repaired. So to say the least they know what they are doing
I have absolutely no experience with body work, I installed my own turbo kit and do all my own work on my car from engine swaps to diffs to stereo. I am however pretty handy and not scared to learn. So this is a learning process for me so if there are any body professionals looking at this and it isnt perfect, whatever needs to be touched up will be done by the professionals at the shop, im just getting the bulk of the work done myself!
Anyways the car is getting fully resprayed OEM new formula red, emblems all shaved, and widened stance at the same time.
Comments welcome, and since I know someone is gunna say "OMG why would you do that to your car blah blah blah..." its my car, I had it stock for 3 years, I want more tire in the rear, and I want it to be different.
Before body shop taking it out of storage

I should be able to fit a 275 or 285 after all this clearance.
I also mounted the fenders to the body with screws for now (will change to rivets once its completed)

Forgot to include these pictures,
This was before I started work on the front fenders
Got a chance to work on the car again today, cleaned up the rear quarters a bit, still waiting to be fully welded, and did some trimming on the overfenders to be able to fit these damn wheels...
Also started blocking the car to get rid of any small dents and dings in the car, these guys are super picky and can spot **** out that I never knew was there. Anyways this process involves sanding evenly using a block as much as possible so that the dent isnt as big as so that it doesn't require much if any fill. I got rid of most of them using this method
Wheels are 18x9.5 +35 with a 265 and 18x8.5 +35 with a 235 in the front

I'll post pics of the wheels on the stock body for reference
Safety/performance > Looks in this case for me

Flared like crazy, so much that it kinked the rear quarters, and still barely fits, I need wider tires in the rear too im already lighting up these 265s way too easily.
Im not a fan of bondo so overfenders gave me more clearance and the ability to run wider tires, dont worry it will be flush once I figure out the max size tire I can throw in the rear.

Started and finished the passenger fender today!
Also had a guy working with me and he did some smoothing and prepping on the drivers side. Front fender is starting to take shape!

A little comedy I found on one of the toolboxes LOL!
