Default Refresh dc2 build...

So I've been wanting to make a build thread for awhile now. So I'm going to take the time to do it now. Please shoot me your opinions on the cars looks and advice u may have.

This is my 1997 integra that I purchased in April 09. Its was black with tan interior with a ls motor that had 160k. Paint was in bad condition was I got a friend to lay down some fresh paint. I picked up some rota slips and a few suspension parts. I was content for awhile then I got the great idea to tuck everything for a clean look for the upcoming season. My deadline to have the car finish is end of April. Now some photos of how the car had progress through the past almost two years.

When I bought it.

Few months past...had my friend spray some paint for me, bought a set candy red slips, and threw on my suspension parts that piled up waiting for the car to be painted.

Sold the slips for a Yakima roof rack and picked up some Enkei 92s that I had powder-coated candy purple. Had the engine bay sprayed candy gold to give it a clean look. Swap out the ls motor for a spec ITR motor. Last photo shoot before I put the car in storage for winter.

Once I finally got the car into the garage, I went start to work pulling out the B18c and stripping the bay. Removed a/c, p/s, abs and pulled the wire harness into the cabin.

brake tuck kit, clutch tuck kit, engine and chassis bolt kits from Downstar Inc came in this week. Installed Arp head-studs and new cosmetic head-gasket on the motor today.

Prep and sprayed the front wheel wells with truck bed coating. Only got the passenger side done today because I ran out of the coating.

Well today was my last day off I got some more progress done. Finished the driver side wheel well, finished up pulling the wiring through and got them already to be tucked.

This came in the mail today

I also picked up some precision 440 cc injectors. I haven't clearly stated what I'm doing with the engine. At first I was going to do a full build. I had every part that I would needed, but with the time schedule I have to get the car finished. There was no possible way I could have done it by myself

New Setup:
Spec Itr motor
Arp head-studs
Aem fuel rail and reg w/440cc injectors
New cosmetic head-gasket
Precision Sc6262 turbo
Precision Intercooler
Greddy Blow off valve and wastegate
Top mount manifold.

Looking to get close to 250-300 to the wheel at 8-10psi of boost.

PAINT DAY

Good progress on the build today. Early in the morning I put down some metal glaze to fill in all the places that were uneven. Then I shot some primer and waiting for a friend to come up from Virginia to give me a hand with the paint.

My friend (half & half) spraying the first coat. He couldn't believe that I talked him into this lol

All done!

Really haven't had much time to post anything lately on the build. I haven't gotten much done this week because of work and unfortunately I'm working this weekend also. I got a few parts in throughout the week. Paint is all dry and now I can start re-installing everything

S2K Master Clutch Cylinder and Rubber Grommets

Got another package today, but didnt have the time to open it yet.

car is looking good but have a question

why you going with such a big turbo and small injectors? seems like it should be the other way around

I traded my jackson racing supercharger for the turbo kit. The turbo is huge, if its to much I would sell this one and pick up something smaller.

Haven't been working on the car much. April 17 is Honda Day in NJ, so I'm getting my DD ready for it. I still been ordering parts and I believe that all the parts are ordered. Need to install my front sub-frame, finish brake tuck, and a few more things before I can drop in the engine

No major update but I had a chance to use the media blast booth in my shop blasted my valve cover, fuel filter, and brake booster. Not liking the vc so I'm having it powder-coated this weekend.
