The real EG9
Introducing my new to me 92 Civic SiR EG9 - 126,000KMs on the clock. This originally came with an automatic transmission but had already been converted to a manual gearbox by the previous owner. It also comes with other minor mods, some of which I like and some of which I don't.
The car is still in decent shape for its age; unfortunately, it's been left baking under the sun for a long time, and the paint has already faded. The first thing on the list is to freshen up the body and paint. This came from the factory with Phantom Gray paint, but I decided to go full black and switch to Flint Black.

The bazooka exhaust is just driving me nuts on the motorway so it needs to go out. Kakimoto is gone and is now replaced with Yonaka chambered muffler.
also, we have to close the slip-on headers as fumes are leaking and going inside the cabin.

It's time to give the interior some love. As I'm going with the OEM+ look, I have to rollback most of the mods. The interior is pretty much back to stock now, apart from the MOMO steering wheel and Android auto head unit. I also installed the optional center console to fit the 2DIN headunit.

I was contemplating keeping the Nardi steering wheel, but I think the Momo Monte Carlo fits golden-era Hondas best.
