Just got the block back from the machine shop.....they tack welded the block guard in. Not the prettiest but I guess it will work.

Not sure about that tack welding, kinda scary. The bad thing is if it does not work then you will find out the hard way.

Block is together....had to do some massive shaving of the block to make clearance for the new rods. But we have cought another snag......test mounted our AFI top mount manifold and the holes in the flange dont line up...even after working them over a bit......totally off But we did contact them issue in manuf and we will get a new one here shortly

Okay so times have slowed down....FINALLY so we had a chance to work a bit on the motor.....manifold is still out getting redone.

So recap so far:

D16z6(light pnp to intake side) motor & Tranny

Wiseco Pistons 8.8:1
Eagle H Beams
Block Guard
Cometic HG
ARP Head Studs
Crower Stage 2 Turbo Cam
Crower Valve Springs & Retainers
Megan Racing Camgear
RC Injectors 880cc
Stock Intake Manifold Port Matched to TB(for the moment)
GSR Throttle Body
OEM Honda Bearings
AFI Turbo Kit (Top Mounted GT30)
OBX LSD
Clutchmasters Stage 4 Clutch

For looks we havent done much:

Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood
Spoon Style Mirrors(get rid of M3 gay ones)

We just recently came up on some Teins for a crazy good deal

And for all the fake wheel haters...please step out for a sec.

16 inch Rota Jmags
