Finally got the SRP pistons, rings, SCAT H-beam rods, ACL bearings, and ARP head studs in the block.

I need a 12point 12mm to put the head on but don't have a ride right now and its raining like hell so the motorcycle is definitely out of the question.

Got the motor in and all hooked up. By myself it took me close to 12 hours between putting it in hooking it up and the wiring nightmare. Going to try the 1st start this morning.
The new setup is

MOTOR:
D16Z6
450CC DSM injectors
SCAT H beam rods
ARP rod bolts
JE 9:1 forged pistons
JE rings
ACL main and rod bearings
APR head studs
Felpro head gasket
Webro 255LPH fuel pump
NGK spark plugs
NGK spark plug wires

TURBO:
TD05 14B (soon to be 16G)
10 psi (soon to be more)
HF manifold (soon to be a tubular manifold)
HF to TD05 adapter
Ebay intercooler kit
Greddy type RS BOV
ebay sandwich plate
ebay turbo oil feed line
HKS super mega flow air filter.

Electronics:
tuned on Chrome pro
AEM wideband
cheap ebay turbo timer
oil pressure gauge (soon to be AEM)
boost gauge (soon to be AEM tru-boost)

Transmission:
DX 5 speed
ETD stage 2 clutch

Battery relocation

Its hard to put the motor in all by yourself. I bent the shift leakage.

All thats left is to put some coolant in and the wheels back on to see if it will start.

Its alive and running. I've only put about 10miles on it. Only problems so far is I have no speedo because theres something up with my 94 integra cluster swap, and the water line under the dist. popped.

First start up video. It started on the vary first try.

I don't have vary many pics of the intercooler pipes but it was pretty simple
starts off with a stock 14B J pipe that I cut.

then into a piece of hose into a 90* coupler then threw the hole where the coolant reservoir is. Then a 90* coupler into this. A 90* pipe, intercooler then 90* pipe(pic was taken before I had it.

then into a 90* coupler then up into this.

I finally got the 94 integra cluster 100% working. It looks so good at night.

It looks uneven in the pics but its lined up good now.

Hey great write up man, thats a beauty your car is. thanx for saving another CRX. i just wanted to let you know that i have a 92 Honda City (GA2 JDM) Please find attached a pic of my car, the functionality is very similar to 88 CRX. i so badly wanted to swap the cluster with a 2004 RSX Type R. as you know i have the cable driven speedo meter and some pple said i definitely needed to get the civic EVSS in-order to get the speedo to work. and some say i need to get the speedhealer to work the speedo. still for all i went ahead and ordered the cluster, i thought of ordering the EVSS when i get the cluster. finaly i got the cluster within 6 days from ebay which had done 22K miles on the odo. i did all the wiring, and i just thought of connecting the speedo signal with the cable driven pulse generator which my old speedo already has that sends the signal to the ECU, what the hell it works. the speedo works and 100% accurate. im willing to bet my money on your cluster too, u never needed the VSS, u could have simply connected the VSS signal to the cable driven pulse generator. i will post a thread of the cluster swap soon with pics and a video. anyway. great job man, keep up the good work.

UPDATE

Its been running good but still smoking. I think the smoking is getting worse but I don't know what to do yet. I've only got 400miles on it and it only smokes when its idling. Going to pull the turbo off and put the stock header on with my friends stock ECU and see if its the turbo smoking.

Heres a few videos from yesterday. I broke the exhaust on a speed bump so I pulled it off to fix it and went for a ride with the open dump tube. Sounds great but its loud. Also the open exhaust is messing with the tune and making it run lean so none of the videos go over 1/2 throttle.

Yea the turbo exhaust seals went out right after I got the motor done. I replaced the turbo and smocking went away.

UPDATE:

Barely notable hitch most people don't even see it until I point it out.
