-Nautical_Star's PROJECT #2, Yeah I'm back(slow progress)-
So after being gone from the scene for only 7 month's I finally came back again with a bigger and better project. At first I left the scene cause I thought it was dead in my opinion because cops started to become even more of a problem and thieves were always lurking everywhere you'd go. But I was convinced I'd never come back until I ran into a buddy of mine at a local gas station and almost motivated me to start another build. So with some luck I was able to find a cleanass shell from a dude here on H-T and now the next chapter in my life begins. To start off I was able to come up on a 1992 Captiva Blue Civic Si which is something I've always wanted since I got into the scene.
Here's a picture of my previous hatch:
Here's some pictures of my current hatch:
As you can see I have some work cut out for me but I'm real happy with it cause there doesn't appear to be any major body damage coming from my body guy that took a look at it and he has 17+ years experience.
Plans are in order from first to last(top to bot):
-Full inside and out paintjob(Captiva blue or Laguna blue pearl?)
-'98 spec Type R motor(BAR it)
-JDM ITR seats
-Endless suspension w/ big brake kit
Well those are my big plans, little stuff here and there is already a given. Stay tuned for updates which won't really come often but I'll post when I can.

Thanks Truong, yeah man I couldn't stay away from the scene any longer. Yeah I'm doing this mainly for the fun of building.

i have always loved this color on hatch backs. Looks like you got a lot of work ahead of you. Just remember that patience is key when building a car. I learned that the hard way with my first build.

Re: (2mansi)
Well this weekend I plan on getting a DA to the under side of the car. Apparently he painted the undercarriage that primer grey color as well which is hella gay. After the DA'ing process I'm going to prep the inside of the car and the engine bay for paint. Then the following weekend is going to be the exterior along with my ITR wheels, going to wetsand and paint the wheels Championship white, so I guess I'm leaving the car Captiva blue. Car stills needs hella restoring so should be a fun series of months of a bunch of DIY.
