i've had these BBS' sitting around for a while now. i got the idea to do a full/well half polish on them. here is the progress.....

they are going to be painted silver like before.....you can see the area where they are going to be painted.....

all masked off, starting the first coat of primer right now....

 

cool, but there's some shakey lines on that mask job, good luck!

 

^doesnt matter

paint/primer wont stick to a polished surface, just use a little fine steel wool to get off the paint

 

what did you use to polish the lip? came out nice!

i'm doing a bbs rs restore at the moment too... but lazy as, lol

there are too many little groves sand paper cant get into....i tried and it just looked like ***

2 coats of silver paint, one more to go.....then 2 coats of clear and the tape can come off.....
