lol yeha it was ppg 2 stage but the clear was dupont they gave me and it had the tech sheet on it with the reducer it was 4:1 clear : activator

but thankx for the 2:1 ratio for the paint reducer i was mixing 4:1 and i was getting some orange peel perhaps this is why. bc i clean the **** out of my items awaiting paint

sorry for the confusion cburke

No not yet, got a run on the door real bad and I am trying to save it so I don't need to re-do it.

I also did not clean my gun good enough and well it does not spray for **** and I can't get it to clean out, so I have to get another gun.

CBURKE go to your local paint supply store and ask them for a "spray gun cleaner" **** works GREAT. alls you do is completley dis assemble your gun drop it in the solution for a few hours and wala it like a new gun.

I'll try that, mine is just not shooting < it's shooting ==

I'll go there today, painting with a touch-up gun does not cut it!!!

Well I worked on welding a little this weekend and I think it is coming out much better. Still not perfect but much better.

I am making the exhaust for the white car, that is why I am practicing so much.

Thanks guys for all the complements. The white one should be done by mid OCT.

Well I have not done much as of late, been doing the family thing. I did get some stuff in the mail. To bad it's for the wife's EJ.
