Default MY PROJECT HF BUILD!!!

This is my 88 hf:
shell-$600
sohc d15b (full swap)-$500
si trany fully built-$400
rywire conversion harnesses-$300
micellaneous-$400

Right now i have a white 88 crx hf that i picked up as a shell for $600 and was in almost perfect condition. It also came with kyb suspension and leather jdm seats so i got a pretty good deal. Then i bought a jdm d15b sohc vtec motor which is completely stock that i know of except for my headers and intake and a 91 si trany which has a stage 3 clutch masters clutch, fidanza lightweight flywheel, lsd installed, short shifter, and uses ls or gsr axles. It was said to be able to hold 400 whp. I picked them both up at R&T Autoworks in Aberdeen NC for about $900 I got all my conversion harnesses from Rywire.com. I am now working on swaping out the dash harness bc the guy who had the car before me hacked the other one up so im having some issues with that. I will try to upload some more pics and keep you updated on my progress.

Parts List:

jdm sohc d15b
91 si trany
fidanza lighweight flywheel
lsd
short shifter
stage 3 clutch masters clutch
4-2-1 headers
cold air intake
kyb gr-2 shocks and springs
summit racing rear mount battery kit
rywire conversion harnesses
jdm leather seats

thanks, well ive kinda got all my money tied up in it rite now but my plans are to build the top and bottom end and go with either a turbo setup or jackson racing supercharger. i have a while to decide tho. but before i do performance i think im gonna work on the looks first with some red drag wheels, carbon fiber hood, side markers, and corner lights. just straight jdm.

I'd put in a D15Z1 -VX motor, keep the HF tranny. Strip the HF down a little and put VX wheels on it, you'll have a 60 MPG car that's still faster than a stock HF.

Why spend a fortune to make a Honda as fast as a stock V8 muscle car when, for very little money, you can make your car do something that no muscle car can ever do?

Fuel efficiency is the next big thing in Honda world. K20 swaps are passe', everyone has one.
