havent been working on the car much

but i did make this on sunday




and look what we got into work the other day brand new Audi R8!





my car will be sitting in the garage since my father left for Puerto Rico this past week so i will be driving his car so i will be able to work on my car now! \

that was a quick bead, with me messin around with my settings bc the wire was to tight and wouldnt come out right, thats why my welder wasnt working so well...


all i need is one little fitting and them im on gas

now i jsut need some nitrous

FINALLY SOME UPDATES: after wking 11 hours a day at audi i finally get to have some weekends off and i completed my exhaust




flowmaster muffler 40 series


my alright welds

looks like the exhasut is falling on the left but it just fell off the hanger



ill have some sound clips of it soon its sounds really good

quick shot of it how it stands now

i should be getting fenders soon!

^ is that what it is, i will try that but it does get good penetration. i aslo need to get a better helmet bc the one i have sucks and i need a bigger display piece, but i dont want to spend 300 on a helmet

I am pretty sure that is the prob. Mine was that the Gas welders that weld flux are set up from the factory to weld flux, so you may have to open the door and see if you have to change the + and - around like I had to

i think the polarity is right but i wll check when i go home tonight or tomorrow, i just got a turtle for free so im going to buy a tank on saturday, make an awsome setup for that turtle. Its going to be like a 5star hotel for the turtle hhaha

i guess i wasnt reading enought... Now i went back throguth the whole thing again.

Good progress actually, you broguth it back from the rice(dead).

So now? Side skitrts, rear bumeper? That will look fine with the shaved doors.;

yeha so now i need a stock bumper, doors, fenders, and im getting new rear quarter panels and then paint again, also i think im going to take out my sunroof it leaks and i dont use it.

So this weekend i picked up a 91 CRX Dx for 500, I will get pictures of it up soon, then progress will comeback, ive just been to busy with work and my baby thats coming in June...

im sorry i didnt read the whole build up but please stop using the word bondo! i hate that word. its plastic or putty. bondo just remindes me of shitty plastic they sell for cheap that doesnt sand down well at all. anyways nice crx, i just purchased an 88 si myself and cant wait to start building it.

HAHA...bondo is just the slang word everyone uses for it. FILLER is the proper word for it. But not EVERYONE knows what you mean when you say that. SOOOOOO the most common word used IS bondo...

BONDO is just a brand of filler that is found in your everyday auto parts store,

haha , ill be pickig up the shell this weekend and my progress will slowly increase

if i can find a trailer by then [towing a car with a strap in Queens is no good ]

Don't mind the blue efed up bumper, he gave me a new one


hood needs alittle more sanding , but i have another one lying around
he also said he might be able to get me a CF hood for free



theres my problem haha


the fender is a little messed up




next to my other crx




the interior is pritty clean, and all the interior is there
i cleaned the **** out of the carpet with carpet cleaner!

oo and one more of the new bumper

does anyone know the name of the color of carpet thats in the interior pieces, bc the backing to the cargo cover thing, that is broke inthe picture i want to fix the wood and recarpet it.
