Default My integra build thread

I've already started on my local forum but i will continue to add on here as pregress continues.

Got the car pretty much trashed, non running motor, crap interior, bad paint, ect ect. Only got it because it was a straight frame. Will have progress whenever i have time to work on it.

plans for the car?

Exterior-
fix all dents/dings
replace driver door
replace both fenders
complete respray of nhbp for the entire car
fix hazed up headlights
96 spec itr lip
all red tails
mudflaps
STOCK exhaust
Crazy colored Mesh wheels with 195-45 tires(i'm planning to dump this thing)
and whatever else i can think of.

Interior-
rip all all brown interior out
remove sound deadening(where can i get dry ice around pensacola?)
tint
full black interior conversion(got most of everything already)

Motor wise-
replace existing ls motor(bent valves)
clean engine bay
wire tuck
abs delete
shave
get ac working
spray bay pink
J32 lsd 6 speed swap whenever i finish the rest and start to round up parts.

Suspension-
omni power lca's
Koni yellows/gc coilover setup
f/r camber kit
asr subframe brace with itr sway

Security-
kill switch
.40

Time frame of completion will be end of december for everything minus j swap, summer for the swap.more when i get there and decide to do it.

on to the pics!

Day i got her.

Started to rip things out.

today, pulled the head, the bottom end is in good condition, head is bad so i'm going to put another one on. Most likely will be running tommorow.

Got around to messing with it today- pulled/gave away the interior today, other than the dash. Next for the interior is to remove the sound deadening.

pulled the head off to discover it had no dowel pins, bent valves, valve stem seals were dead. Went to go replace valves/seals halfway through i discovered a valve guide was broken. Time for a new head.

got around to working on it today. sourced out a black driver door and driver fender. I found out both windows and the sunroof work very well without any hesitation so i'm pretty happy about that.

old door

Replacement

New fender and everything lined up.

still awaiting my head to be finshed so i can get her running, source out a passenger fender so i can begin bodywork and swap the interior out.

went and got some new rollers today. due to the very low offset, i will need to roll the fender pretty hard to have them fit correctly and give it some more negative camber.

check out the lip. lols, car is sitting on the tires in the rears.

What? Lol. I hope your kidding.

I don't think he was doing it to save weight. It just looks better. And your not looking through the rear windshield unless you like to drive around in reverse bro.

Btw car looks awesome already. Day and night difference.

no, no, no...haha read it again, rear WINDSHIELD delete. not rear wiper delete. I'd imagine not having hatch glass would cause a slight problem in the rain.

lol at the weight reduction, the whole wiper assy. weighs like 3 lbs. Not even worth it if you have an all out drag car or something.
