the good old 06 came along






last track event in 06. heres a lil vid and pics

then in 07 i got a lil to busy with a new job and didnt do much late 07 on the other hand got lil interesting.






after a long battle with the insurance company and debating on keeping the car i decided to just build the track car of my dreams. so my built began. removed all the interior, tar and most of the wiring to send the car off to Mr. louie at Lcon

this past weekend i swaped my 5 lug on with the help of mr hugo2go. i sill need to finish removing a few things for paint but my paint guy still needs a month before he can take the car so it will be a lil slow from this point on. ill post new pics up soon. :bang:

so she finally found her new home for the next couple of months i took some shots of her since i was delivering all my bumpers and stuff.











and the only man i would trust with my paint job. known this cat for almost 5 years really legit dude.. cant say anything bad about him.. my homie aude

wtf happened with that van? did it spontaneously erupt lol. It must have been 12000000º, it melted the glass.

Hurts to see a good lookin em1 get torn apart for some minor heat/fire damage... I'm sure you'll do it up right though...looking good man. I will be subscribing as well. And bump for professional paint jobs

 

Its a ford! The firestones blew causing it to roll over and catch flames.

Good job on the track car although i think it was a waste of em1...... *sigh*. .... *tear*

 

the van just parked and caught flames... the owner said they smelled something burnt right before they got out but thought nothing of it

ya it took me a long time contiplating whether to do what i wanted to do with it or just keeping it original.. i know made the right decision. and thx

i think most em1 owners will think the same way you do. but i disagree not using my car the way i want to is a waste.

 

how much is he charging for the paint job? Ive been thinking of repaiting my em1 again.

btw...im on the same page with you about converting my em1 to a track car and still be able to drive it around town, but im still on the beginning stages of mine.

Wrong area dude but sweet car! If it gets moved to the appearance section it will be less likely get pushed off the technicals.

Don't think so. The OP is posting the build of his car, nothing wrong with that. His tech is that he's showing the progress in building his for for his needs, thats the whole point!

The appearance section is for just some snap shots of somebody's ride, it doesn't even have to have any info.


OP, although i'm sure it was hard for you to decide on what to do with your car after the fire, it looks like you are going to make the most of the situation

 

i woulda just rebuilt it to normal but thats just me... again like i said before, its gonna look good

 

I'm not trying to start an argument on whose perception is correct. I was making a suggestion so your thread doesn't get pushed which with all the kids wondering whey VTEC doesn't work, Hi I'm new, or other new guy threads it will in time.
