Default My EJ2 build thread/ progress

Whats going on Honda-Tech. Just wanted to share my build timeline with you guys from old set ups up until the new recent power plant. I've been through hell and back with this car and I'm very proud of how far its come. Hope you guys enjoy it.

I got the car pretty much stock with a LS motor and 4 blown struts. That had to go so i bought K sports and changed the lights to some 50/50 tail lights and black housing headlights with amber corners. I kept my old black rota slips from my old EK 4dr i had.

Then i changed up the rims to some gold rota j mags

Then some bronze circuit 10's

Then again some white rota slips

then i did some more suspension work

I ended up taking out the LS and putting in a single for the winter time because i was doing a small build on the side which was a b20/vtec.

And also changed the rims up to some rota group n's in black with the red lip

then decided to get some sparco torino seats

But now it was time to get more involved so i built a LS/VTEC for about 2 years with everything from pro 3 stage cams to 13.1 compression pistons. car made 232whp on E85.

and then had some Honda fit wheels on it

And then i got tired of the B series so i changed it up and also got rid of the headlights and got some SIR corners and headlights and got some Enkie RPF1's

wish i had some pictures of the progress of doing the k swap. I'll clean the engine bay up later on just did the swap and got the car running not to long ago. ill take some pics of the interior and when i cut up the car some and take the carpet out.

Well for the past few months i have been hitting the track alot. i have some pictures of the track days. my new personal best 1/4 mile time is a 12.3 at 109 mph with a 1.7 60 foot on 23x8x13 M and H slicks. mind you the coupe weights in a 2180 with me in it and a 1/8 tank of gas. I needed alot of seat time but i finally got the car to a low 12 sec pass. Bone stock motor. Motor mad 215whp and 168 torque.

I still have to grind down the metal so you dont cut your self. but i cut the rear a bit and removed all the panels, headliner etc.
