hahaha i work full time @ uhual making 9 bux an hour, i live w my parents (makes rent HELLA cheap!) and i hit up the j/y, friends and ebay for EVERYTHING that i feel i can safely get away with.

misha - there is when bolts are rusting to the insides of the bushings of them, and the bushings are shredded to bits!! I know blox doesn't make the best lca's (atleast from what all i've read on HT from all the searching i've done)

Under glows are no longer going to be installed, they way too much lolz. plus it looks like it'll take too much to install them. I'm no fast and the furious foo!

I try not to get TOO overwhelmed w parts and what not, i still need like ALL the parts (accessories) to put my motor together, but things work out nicely for the most part, as i don't have much time to work on my car so i buy some parts, and while waiting for them to arrive i find something else to work on while i wait for the parts to arrive. about the time one batch of parts get here it's usualy payday so i order more parts while i work on installing the ones i just got.... you guys get the idea.

hey p j, thanks for the shout out, and thanks for this:

I know it's an auto cluster, but i like it better than the stock clusters for our years.

Oh, and these too:

better than no fogs, eh? they're kind of a clear yellow now... but i'm going to try to find either some yellow h3 bulbs, or just get some 3000k HID's for them

...hook up the underglows in the bedroom? You mean like this sub is? lol .

As far as the orange car goes... I'm feelin a DOHC ZC swap w auto trans would do nicely for it, as well as paint (keeping it orange) with a small drop, dual tip muffler clear corners and bumper lights w amber bulbs, and some HX's and it'd look SICK imo. I'm thinking of looking for some LS webbs for my ride for now. I want sportmax 002's, but i'm not wanting to roll and flare my fenders just yet... what do you guys think?

you dont have to lie! we all know you chose not to do the underglow because we talked you into it!
why do you want an auto zc?? i like the sub in your room, is it gonna go in the car?? Fog lights are a pain in the ***. My jdm fogs stopped working after i drove around in the rain with the bumper off and the harness exposed. The fogs weren't on the car, but they dont work now. so sad

have you heard of the fifty dollar paint job?? if not i suggest you search it because with any real budget it is a banksaver. Dont just ignore it because its fifty dollars! ive heard (and seen) good things about it

are you kidding? i've looked into the 50 dollar paint job hella! I'm probably going to go that route due to ease (even tho some have said that it sometimes turns into a 150 dollar paint job, but that's still wayyyyyyyyyy cheaper than having a shop do it).

So far i installed my passenger side ex knuckle, and half bolted on my front sway bar (i some how managed to lose one of the brackets to mount them to the frame...). going to work on it more later tonight after i get my girl put to bed.

why the zc auto? the orange car (aka pumpkin pie or the pumpkin) was bought as a first car from a shady dealer on 82nd ave. here in portland for 600 bux w no paper work other than a title (which some how is clean, even though it has core support damage). it ran great, ac blows SO COLD but had a blow hg. plus carfax only goes back to like 01. it was transfered back and forth from here to washington a couple times, possibly brought down from canada. long story short, it seems like it's been abused and neglected most of it's life, and it's time to make it a new car w a fresh start, just like the blue car i'm working on now(although i belive i'm the third owner of the blue car). plus a zc would be fun to mess with, but isn't something i want in my car (d series for now, and later either lsvtec or crvtec)

I still dont understand why you want auto! whatever, your choice. Im just gonna say that hondas with auto trannys suck if your trying to modify/drive fast. With stick you can rev it as high as you want, launch it at high revs (were all the power is) and downshift to get to high revs. The problem with auto trannys is that hondas are meant to be fuel efficient and therefore to operate at lower revs so to get it to the high revs when you want to is hard. Also they rob hp and aren't fun to drive and if your planning to go aftermarket for the exhaust its gonna sound hella crappy with an auto. Hit up youtube if you dont know what I mean.

w00t! update! So i got my wire tuck ALMOST fully done. should have a battery in it so i can atleast bump some jams w/o using a power converter. recently installed my ex knuckles, front sway bar, and tonight i almost finished my wire tuck... just gotta finish looming up a couple wires and it'll be goooood. managed to snag a pair of rear door handles from a sedan, and an si cluster from an 89 dx sedan so i don't have to re wire my dash harness for either my teg cluster or my 91 cluster. it's even within 5,000 miles of the actual mileage on my car! that's pretty good too. oh yeah, i also finaly got my coilovers installed on all 4 struts. will have more updates tomorrow. here's some pix:

rear door handles:

ex knuckles installed:

sway bar installed:

coil overs installed:

Yeah it's pretty cool. i don't really care much either way, if anything i'd just make my own dash w my own gauges that i choose if i really cared (spendy, but why not?)

picked up some stuff today from the auto store, a ground strap, connectors for my 4g to the fuse box, a battery tie down piece and a rubber bottom for it, and some projector fog lights that SUPPOSEDLY are verry much so similar to si-r's, only smaller. dunno. i like them better than the brick style one's tho. just bought a ps9 ecu for my orange hatch... i ALMOST have all the parts to put it back together. might be getting the dizzy for it today too.

p j - I'll get the side skirts tomorrow. i'll have more updates tonight

small update:

I just completed my first dpfi-mpfi engine harness (to obd1, no resitor box needed! w00t) since my car didn't come w an engine harness, but needed one, i picked up a std engine harness off a 91 hatch @ teh j/y yesterday. the intake manifold i have (d16z6 i belive) came from one of those j/y's where you walk up to the counter, ask for something and they go out to the car and get it, so it has everything on it and the harness as well. so that went smoothly. it also helps that i had purchased an si engine bay harness (it finaly paid off!).

edit: this write up helped me a TON:
http://www.angelfire.com/d20/hcivic88/dx-siwiring.html.

no so detailed, but still helpful one's are also these two:
http://www.geocities.com/teampimports/fuelinj.html
http://www.geocities.com/c_rexboy/mpfi.html

all three were found doing the search feature.

for whomever it may concern, i de-pinned and re pinned as much as i could. it may interest some to know that the dpfi dizzy plug (once depinned and removed) works great for a firewall plug so the engine bay harness can be completely removed. here's some pix of the final work (yes i used butt connectors, they work fine for me, don't hate, i have no solder and don't know where my solder gun's at):

finished harness:

the plug i added for injectors 2&4, and the crank angle sensor. for this i used some pre loomed (rubber loomed) wire that has four wires in side of it (red, yellow, green and brown) that i got from work.

here's the plug:

just gotta snag the other end off of a dpfi dizzy and then wire it up. tomorrow i'll be finishing the swap @ the ecu plug.

meh it's really not THAT hard to do, the hard parts is making sure you're cutting the right connectors. I'm leaving the hard part to rywire (i'm going to be purchasing an obd0-od1 conversion harness w 4wire o2 sensor and vtec sub harness) so i can rock my z6 head in its natural obd status. lol

lol nice ryan and thanks for getting me that wire. still not sure if the ecu is bad or not yet...im hopin its the wiring. I put the turbo parts on CL and said ill trade for a header and test pipe and cash or a vtec head with solenoid and EVERYTHING. so we may be the same **** haha. I think that with the wiring being redone to NEAR how your doing your injector wiring i should be golden tomorrow afternoon for the start up...you going to be there? I may drive it to eds mufflers monday and try to take my dads credit card so i can have them make a test pipe for me to sue for now...but i would rather have the new header and test pipe instead. peace bro

check that first link. you'd know if your ecu was bad, as far as i know it would just be a solid red light. double check this stuff:

TO HOOK UP THE MULTI-POINT CRANK ANGLE SENSOR:
- First, you'll have to go to the passengers foot well to where the ecu is located.
- Pin B10 and B12 should both be empty.
- You'll have to cut and move the wire that goes to pin C1(orange) over to pin B10, and move the wire from pin C2(white) over to pin B12. Don't get these two mixed up or else the ignition timing will be severly retarded. Leave enough wire at the ECU side of pin C1 and C2 for next step.
- Now run wires from pins C1 and C2 into the engine compartment and label them.
- There will be a connector on the new Si distributor with two unused pins. One of the wires will be blue/green stripe, and the other will be blue/yellow stripe.
- The wire that is blue/green stripe will go to the wire from pin C1 on the ECU and the other wire that is blue/yellow stripe will go to the wire from pin C2.
I'm thinking you may have these wires switched up. if you wait till after 5 for start up i can be there, other wise nope cuz i gotta work
