Default My DC Tuck, Engine Bay Shave, and Build up...

UPDATE ON PAGE 2!!

Basically I bought this car a while back thinking it was ready for the street. Declared "fully built" but really it was stock with an m12 57Trim... At the time I was naive in the sense that I trusted the guy... Little do I know now (3 grand latter) that the motor wasn’t built and the car had a long ways to go. Exterior was clean with F1 fenders F/G hood and Motegi wheels but it wasn't enough to call it mine.
The crappy engine bay on the day of purchase...

Engine during build-up, included 81.5mm wisecos slapped on Eagle Rods hidden inside the walls of an LS B18a1

You'll find that I'm not Vtech and many will flame me but I couldnt pass up the deal I cought on this B18B head. Ported and Polished, KMS Valvetrain, Crower 402T cams

The car sits now completed stripped and ready for a shave, paint, and tuck..

Pulling the harness apart is going to suck!

Here is the harness untapped under the dash. I'm removing the ABS wires at the moment. I found that about 5-6 brown wires run into a harness that goes being the dash along the firewall. I wonder if I can just cap these wires off insted of pulled MORE harness apart...

Wires I've already removed

Did anyone that has already done a tuck keep this harness? If runs under the radiator support in the front. the only wires I was using on it was the two SRS sensors I think...

and does anyone know what this plug is for on the driver side harness? It has four wires and I cant seem to remember what it went to and if I needed it or not...

Anyhow I'm going to work on this pretty heavy as I'm needing the car to come together shortly so updates will be often

Looking good man. I couldn't even pull the harness through on my passenger side. Had to take all this stuff out but I didn't want to.

yeah I didnt want to pull all the crap out either. I first told myself that I'm just going to paint the bay and just hold up the harness and paint around it. Then I said stop being a lazy bastard and pull that harness through and tuck it.... I dont think I'm going to do a break tuck though. Just mount it on the firewall..

So does anyone know what to do with the brown wires that went to the ABS plugs? I'm thinking about just capping them off insted of tracing them down... I'm thinking they go to the SRS system?

What about the wiring harness on the radiator support. I think the only thing I was using was the SRS sesnors?

well I'm kind of trying to figure out what plugs I can remove from the harness....

I have searched the FSM for quite some time now and its apparent that what I thought was "SRS Sensors" is probably Relays. But relays to what? There are four plugs and I suppose four Relays.

Here is some pictures of what I'm talking about and where they was located on the chasise before I removed them.

The harness harness i'm talking about up front

I have figured out two of them
1. ABS Fail Safe Relay C208
2. A/C Condenser Fan Relay
3.?
4?

If I can determine whether or not I need these relays then I can continue to remove plugs from the harness...

Ok so I got some parts today...

SS Lines, Fittings, Fuel Filter... Still need Clutch SS Line Kit though..

This should help clean up my harness...

Fuel delievery should be ok with this walbro 255 and these MSD 96 lb 2 ohm injectors

This will get painted as well...
