i have beats!! it's amazing what a good amp and GOOD speakers can do for your car... lol sounds like i have a bass tube, but i don't... any ways got it 90% put back together and cruised around the neighbor hood a bit. i think i either have a fuel leak or my car runs CRAZY rich because i can drive a mile and the needle moves a 16th of a tank. but w/e, i'll figure that out later. right after i got done cruisin i was in front of my house letting it idle and what not while i b/s'd with my buddy pat and all the sudden a HUGE cloud of steam came billowing up from under the hood. turns out i forgot to put a hose clamp on the hose that goes from the black tube on the black of the block to the tb and it popped off. oh well lol

so now that it is timed correctly, and the dizzy is where it's supposed to be, it runs hella nice! pulls right from the get go (not bad for a b15b1 w 200k+ miles) smokes a bit but w/e, and is hella comfy. i wish i could get some NEW carpet for it tho, mines worn out.

don't worry it'll be good again. interior is lookin pretty nice. I still need a few pieces to make it look completely legit. to get it where i want it, i need to get an oem black 90-91 hatch cluster cover, OEM optional audio center piece, i'd like to get a gsr center console, i need to re dye my OEM floor mat's back to black since the dye washed out when i washed them and they are currently green, some matching small floor mats for the rear, re install the a/c, replace the body harness with a new one (between me apekd/speckles and who know's who else it's been WAY too chopped up for my taste) new bushings and paint. for paint i'm thinking of keeping the panda sceme (black and red), but i'm going to sand off the green and gun metal and bring the red back to life big time. this wont happen untill next year tho, as I'm going to drive it till it get's too nasty out then park it for the winter. don't want to chance wrecking it.

oh and THANK YOU SPECKLES FOR NOT KNOWINGLY LETTING ME USE YOUR PIX!!!

OH i forgot to say that i got some work done to it today, i FINALY jacked it up and removed the broken crank pulley, and replaced it w one from a d15b2... this one was hella odd tho, it's got a big weight on the inside of it and is heave as FAK, although the motor runs smooth so w/e i'm not complaining. lol also replaced my alternator belt, and eye balled my brake pads cautiously, noting that there's like NOTHING left of them in the front...so MAYBE tomorrow i will do a brake job on it (i have all the part's just been lazy since i'm not driving it).

my hopes are that i can eventually do a type of build like this one:

https://honda-tech.com/forums/appearance-build-threads-122/%2A%2A-i-think-its-round-3-now-mr-coupe-k-series-ej7-full-restoration-fun-time-%2A%2A-2507237/

not for the motor per say but i like how much work was put into the vehicle from start to finish

I watched it fly by me when I left from college about a month ago at like 70 to 80 and then traffic stopped, when i got up there the only thing left was about 1 foot of the car. I say DC for life and anything else that is bigger and stronger than that of the ED chassis.

HEY no fighting in MY build thread. leave that to the main forums. I like ef's and so does he. and as far as the ef goes if you were haulin *** in a dc (which is heavier than an ef) and a semi pulled out in front of you and you went under it every one in that car would be decapitated too.

any whoo no new updates as of now... although i've been thinking lately about trading in my van on a db7 (4dr teg) if i get this job at fred meyer. why?? i want to properly finish my hatch's (ed, ef, w/e i can dream can't i???) i want something that's WAY better on gas, something that has ac and something that looks cool. well i found that.

blah it's been TOO HOT to do anything to it... but i did get in it yesterday, and moved it around a bit... and stank up my house w my nasty *** exhaust. lol. also went and test drove an automatic 4dr integra... i LOVE that car... idk it just feels safe. great price, car feels like it was well maintained, but sadly... no job... no money... mom wont help me get it. so it'll probly go to some *** hat who will beat the **** out of it then wreck it.

i'd rather have the vin say ed6 and be a complete std model. i can always install a rear sway bar, d16a6, a sun roof and full si interior, but i can't make insurance companies make insurance lower on an si... but std's are SLOW!! lolz so insurance is cheap.

nice

today i installed my fuzzy coin cup, front bumper, a fpr from an HF and stock "aftermarket" headlights that are like brand new that i had laying around. still need some adjustments, but the HID's look pretty good in them, and i'm not getting that much glare.

before all that i went to the j/y and picked up a pair of aftermarket door lock actuators, the relays that went with them for my other hatch, a fpr from an HF and a fpr from an ex sedan, some oem rubber covers for the brake and clutch pedal and some other misc stuff.

i still need to figure out why the engine moves back and forth so flippin much. it's crazy!!

I looked at the motor mounts, i think the rear mount bolt came loose and popped out. didnt get too good of a look, either that or the mount went bad as well
